This joint has been serving some of the best felafel in Melbourne since 2003. Broad beans are the secret! Nabil Hassan, the owner, moved from Cairo to Australia in the early 80s. He arrived with a degree in agricultural science, but like so many who migrate here, he worked wherever he could, from kitchens to taxi ranks, before eventually settling in Melbourne’s north and opening Half Moon Café in Coburg.
